When is Red not Red?

My red S22 ultra turned up today after a long wait (plenty of threads about that on here already).

Unfortunately, the colour of the phone can hardly be described as Red. It's perhaps Orange, but more like Salmon. This isn't what I expected or wanted. I'm seriously, considering sending the phone back.🤔

Writing this sounds quiet petty, but when spending well over £1000 on a product, I'd expect to get what I paid for. A "Red phone", and not a wishy-washy Orange.

Recieved mine today and certainly not Red!! 

But as the colour is not awful and I did not pay extra for it, I have a red case coming.

I was originally excited for the red colour based on the leaks etc but when I saw the actual colour on pre order day I was so disappointed and went with the phantom black (which is great)

After seeing the current photos of the actual red version I'm so glad I didn't get it... personally think its a horrible colour and samsung really missed messed up not producing a proper red like the leaks suggested.

I've viewed a few unboxings on YouTube @NickFurnell and some of those creators suggested it looks more like a burnt orange than red.

I think people are comparing the phone with the Product Red iPhone with is a more true red.

Personally I looked at the Graphite Samsung Galaxy s²² Ultra 256gb but due to the usual delays with online exclusive colours I opted for Phantom Black.

You have 21 days to return a product if purchased via samsung.com for a refund or as another mentioned look at a nice  Red case to compliment the phone.

Personally I always need to use a case due to how slippery these phone's are to grip 🙃  I  use the Samsung Black Leather Cover Case but I appreciate many like the clear cases to showcase the phone's actual colour.

I also ordered the red and yes it's not like the red that initial leaks were putting out there for us, also it's not really the same shade as what you see on the website either, in the flesh it looks fine to me but it is what it is. My S22 Ultra will only ever be out of a case at home in a safe environment like my previous Note 20 Ultra in white.

Its not petty at all. I just got it (March 24th) and I ordered it February 10th. I'm so sad by this color.......

 great. So they won't exchange. Only return and re-order. I am so upset/pissed rn. I waited this long for an orange phone .......
