I am using Chrome as my browser, in case that's important. And I've tried numerous chargers, as a test, with no improvement.
Anyway, when I plug in my charger, Google or YouTube keep on opening on their own with random websites filled with ads. I've spent hours researching this problem and all of the solutions so far have not helped to solve this issue.
I keep seeing the below suggestion, which is confusing to me because my S22 doesn't have anything that says: Battery and device care. It only says Battery which leads to everything but the below options.
Settings > Battery and device care > Device protection > Scan phone
Please help as I'm trying to solve this without having to reset my phone.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Did you try what was posted by oscarrr367? If that didn't work, check in the Modes and Routines app and see if there are any apps called Game Boosters or anything that might sound like that which allows you to open up links and/or web pages while in games. Delete or disable that app.

I was having the same issue and was able to fix mine through the settings.
Settings > Modes and Routines > Charging ( open up the charging schedule and scroll to the bottom to see if it has a website listed. delete the charging schedule)
My charging schedule showed a few websites to launch when charging. I also ran a malware scan which didn't show anything before deleting the charging schedule
I show no charging schedule now when i open "modes and routines"

Thankyou so much. This worked.
What do you think might have caused it though. The power saver does it keep opening this gameclyo.com webpage?

The same thing happened to me after a restart done with a Software Update.

Thank You!!! This was making me nuts!! I have a Galaxy S23 Ultra:
I went to my phone "Settings".
In the search box typed "Routines".
Selected: "Modes and Routines"
At the bottom, selected "Routines"
There was only one 'Routine' called "Power Saver".
I Deleted it!!! Finally!!! Thank You!!
