Since updating to the October 2024 Samsung update on my s22 ultra my phone has had loads of issues . I keep liosing signal aswell as massive issues with charging I'm on cable number 5 in 7 days . I keep been woken up by an alarm warning saying moisturiser in the charging port . Happened twice also happened to a friend after the Samsung update . Is anyone else having issues with the same things ? Come on Samsung i had no issues at all with my phone until this update and now my phones not charging and when it does it drains really fast . Also no longer fast charges despite what charger I try .

Hi there 👋 and warm welcome sorry for issues you facing after updating your phone.. Have you tried to wipe cache partition? To do so turn off you phone plug to PC, tv or other phone via USB then press and hold power and volume up buttons until samsung logo appears then quickly release power button but keep holding volume up until reboot menu shows up then navigate with volume down button to wipe cache partition press power button then restart phone, other option is to run phone into safe mode https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10003495/
If nothing works try disable auto blocker and try open keypad dialer and enter *#9900# then scroll down until you see batterystats reset press on that and see if any of that helps1731358152573.jpg

I'm sorry to learn that your experiencing these issues with your phone. 

Please try >

  • Usb reset.
    Settings > Apps > Tap the 3 lines with the downward facing arrow, to the right of 'Your apps' > Show system apps (toggle this on) > OK > Scroll down, and tap on 'USBSettings' > Storage > Clear cache > Clear data, then restart your device. 

Also there is Safe Mode >

You can send feedback via your Samsung Members App to Samsung directly. 

If all else fails a very last resort could be to back up and factory reset.

Hello, I have been having the same issues with my S23 Ultra since the October update.
I have cleared the cache partition. That solved the "moisture detected in usb" issue. However, since the update, my phone will no longer fast-charge and the battery seems to be draining faster than it used to. (I have not installed any new apps and have already tried starting the phone in safe mode, which did not resolve the issue). Fast charge has been working fine for a year, it's literally the update that seems to have stopped it from working.

P.S The fingerprint recognition has also suddenly become very poor (as bad as the S22 used to be). Again, that is something that has been working flawlessly until the update.

I was having the not stay connected to network, charging issues, charging port issues, and more, thought it was just my cell so bought this cheap one I'm using. Is samsung going to fix this? I just heard about other with s22 going though the same. Not happy about this and if they think I will go out and buy new $2000.00 phone they r so wrong!
