Do a full back up of your phone first, install, then clear cache partition after too.
Like you said, mixed reviews have been posted so I suppose it comes down to if you want to do it or not.

I just updated yesterday and my phone is now bricked.
- My eSIM is wipeout and can no longer be added back.
- Physical sim is not recognized anymore.
- The IMEI number on my phone is now gone together with the eSIM IMEI.
- It also reboots itself randomly.
- Can't no longer connect to my PC. It's just constantly disconnected.
- It runs very very hot without doing any thing. Battery as a result drains very quick from 80% to 20% in less than an hour.
- Many apps can no longer be open with the error message "com.android.phone keeps stopping".

I am seeing more people complaining about bricking Galaxy s22, is there a way to cancel One UI 6.1 update. Files are already downloaded and I am afraid it will automatically start installing and brick my phone. I do not know is anything that can stop this, delete those downloaded update files?
