Transferring SIM from S20 Ultra

I have a Galaxy S20 Ultra, with a contract (to expire shortly with O2).

Can I buy a SIM-free Galaxy S22 Ultra, and switch the SIM from my S20 Ultra into it?

Phone's purchased direct from Samsung or as sim free are unlocked to all Networks , so Yes your current sim will work in the new phone.
