The daily app/game advert at the start of launch on the Galaxy Store app

Does anyone actually pay attention to this? Every other day I load Galaxy Store to check for updates to apps and am greeted by this annoying app ad for either a game or something else. I always click never show again which then hides it for that ad, but after a day or two a new ad for something else appears when loading Galaxy store so clearly the never show again only applies to that specific ad and you have to click don't show again for the next ad.

Seems like a big waste of everyone's time and does nothing but frustrate or annoy those of us who don't care about these ads for games or whatever.

Maybe Samsung should incorporate some ML into this part of galaxy store. Those of us who don't play games or install these apps, simply don't show us these ads as we never click them or pay attention to them.

Hi. I've used the galaxy store, but now I have a problem, it won't load a game that I've spent days playing! So I downloaded the same game on Google play & guess what?, its only 600 odd mb & not 700mb! But i have to start the game from day 1! For some reason it's stealing 100+mbs, I luv Samsung but phone/app support is rubbish & stealing more of my storage is unforgivable, galaxy store will be disabled from now on, I suggest doing the same as it's useless to me, should of stuck with Google all the way!

You can't just disable it and be done with it as system apps only update via Galaxy Store, so you will have old apps with potential security risks if you do that.

Simply don't use Galaxy Store for games or apps that also exist on Play Store.

The "stolen" storage would be your app data which is not present on a freshly installed game.

Back to your original post, I totally agree, I find it annoying to say the least. Someone posted a workaround on here but I'm blowed if I can find it. It originally worked for me but perhaps an update reset it.

It drives me bonkers.. why do Samsung inflict this on its customers .? There MUST be a way of blocking these pop up ads.. PLEASE HELP SOMEONE .!
