Text notifications

Is it possible to set a different notification sound for text messages. Sure you used to be able to do this but cannot see the option to do this. Using S22+ running Android 14 & OneUI 6 Many thanks

Hi, You can do that in Settings > Apps > Messages > Notifications > Notification categories > select a category ( example New message) and change the Sound.

My phone doesn't have categories for notifications. I have Galaxy S22 Ultra.

I figured it out. In advanced settings , i didn't have Manage notification categories for each app turned on. It must be off by default when I updated.
