slow charging

I have S22 ultra exynos version before it use to charge really fast like 49 mins or so for 100 percent using samsung travel PD charger , but now after I have updated to UI5 its takes over an hour and 15 min to full charge.

any idea what could be the issue please?

Hi @Fd22 

One step is to use a torch to look in the charging port just to see if there is any build up of debris etc.

Another is to try another Samsung charging brick and cord.

I am having the same issue with my S22. The charge time between me using the old gast charging cable and plug and the new super fast charging cable and plug is the exact same time. Even though the phone acknowledges it is super fast charging it still isn't any quicker. Its saying it'll take me 30 minutes to go from 70% to 100% on super fast charging. I'm positive it usually charges much faster than that. I have cleaned out the charge port carefully but this has not made a difference.

my S22 ultra is more than a year old but it was charging really quickly 2 months ago when I updated to ui5 .
I m trying to figure out whether it's a battery issue of aging or wheyher related to ui5 update.

My S22 is almost a year old and until very recently my super fast charge time was quick. Since updating my software on 23rd July it has been much slower. I've cleaned my charge port and used only Samsung plug and cables when testing between fast charge charger from my old S20 and super faster charger from my S22 and the charge speed is the exact same. It is very frustrating as I feel like I'm taking a step back in time all of a sudden.
