Sent my S22 for repair

Hi, i sent my S22 for repair via Samsung Technical Support and now i have found out they sent it to a third party repair shop that has bad reviews and has a history of damaging customers smartphones and taking no responsibility. I am now worried that the same will happen to me. Is there anything i can do if they do damage my s22? I am quite disappointed that samsung would do this to their customers.

If you sent it to Samsung directly and they have forwarded it on, then the repair contract is between you and Samsung, not you and the third party. So, if there's any issue when it's returned, go back to Samsung, not the repair agent. It's Samsung's responsibility to put it right.

Hello @AnjuM25 and may I extend a Warm Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum 👋 

When a person or myself need to use a Samsung Service Centre I always carry out the following, and advise others to do so too. 

Take time and date stamped photo's of the phone to show it's aesthetic condition while in your possession, with one of the phone turned On if possible ,and one of the water indicator which is typically visible in the sim card tray slot. 

I appreciate you've already relinquished your phone. 

Samsung insist on a high standard when effecting a Repair ,and look to any Service Centres to apply the same high standards. 

Remember your only reading reviews from people who have said they've had a bad experience.

It's not as common for a person to leave a review in that they've been looked after. 

Rest assured that Samsung take their Duty of Care responsibilities seriously.
