Samsung Wallet has lost the fingerprint scan option

Since Friday Samsung Wallet won't work. It double beeps when I scan it but won't show the thumbprint scanner. It says PIN under the card but it doesn't give the option to use the PIN either. I have recently changed from the S10 Lite to the S22+ and transferred all of the information across.

I have looked at every single setting on Wallet and Curve but can't find anything that is causing it.

Has anyone else had this issue?

That's weird @scaryclare 

To be honest my preference is Google Pay now known as Google Wallet which is working seamlessly.

This in your case sounds like a glitch which hopefully self resolves.

Take a look in Settings,  Apps , Samsung Wallet and if it's there go into storage and clear Cache.

Also another generic troubleshooting tip is >  Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too.

I have the same issue and is really frustrating. I have been stuck on the transport barriers in London randomly because my Samsung pay stopped working all of a sudden. I then need to restart my phone and then it works. So annoying. I am thinking of moving to Google wallet permanently

I uninstalled it and then downloaded it again. Once it was set back up it was fine but it must have been an update that caused it as you all had the same issue.
