Petrified to do so 😂.

I was hoping Samsung can officially tell us to do so!

Hey there and welcome to the Samsung UK and EU Community Customer to Customer Forum

As this is a customer to customer forum, Samsung wont respond on here.

As the motherboard has been replaced, updating OS should be fine.

I totally understand your apprehension to update however security patches are also vital that come hand in hand with software updates @Members_5OUe3BF

I know you'll be worried with updating however it's a necessary function.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

It seems to me that it is impossible to suffer from updates in the way that many people have now. Without updates, no one will hack my phone or anything else. And by updating the phone, ostensibly for security, we got a really DANGEROUS gadget!!! For some reason, we are constantly being scared that security is important and needs to be updated. Maybe it's all just a manipulation of us?
