I have a Samsung S22. 2 days back there was a software update after which the screen has started flickering. On contacting service centre, they said they can't resolve it without paying up fully for the display change! Samsung support was contacted and they too were of no help. For a problem which has cropped up due to their software updates, they are yo resolve it. There are many who have complained so. Very bad experience and very bad service.

If I switch off nd on the flickering goes off... I can use the phone

Same happened with me. My phone is out of warranty and this issue started coming after software update

I have started facing the flickering issue after my software update on 05.03.2025. I have turned off Adaptive Motion Smoothness, if it is left on, the left side of the screen from top to bottom glows bright green. Every time I turn ON my screen, the top left strip i.e from the left to the camera hole, there is a bright flicker. The color on certain app logos have a faded look. Will the Samsung service center be able to rectify this problem, even though the phone is out of warranty. Kindly share on any information available.
