My Samsung S22+ is overheating like crazy (38° when using youtube/ google, even right now. 40°+ when playing games even on mediumvgraphics) and nothing I tried helped. Turning off 5g, decreasing brightness, updating to 6.0 ui (it's awful btw), clearing cache, deleting unused apps and files. Is there anything I can do to make it not get so hot?

Hi there, as stupid as this may sound, using a fan against your phone works to cool it down, you could also take your case off, once you take the case off enable airplane mode as this stops any battery eating features such as wifi scanning and Bluetooth. Make sure your phone is in a suitable environment, Eg not in direct sunlight.

Providing you haven't received a temperature warning, your phone is performing within the operating temperature range and hasn't exceeded the maximum.  We have put together a handy guide on ways to lower the temperature of your device here

My S22 is overheating to the point of shutting down. It is still under warranty. I have done everything suggested. I now have to put it in a fridge if there is one nearby.

This cannot be normal. Should I log it as a fault?

@Members_5kGWmo7: This is certainly not typical behaviour, however our devices do have an automated process which cause them to power down when they overheat. Are you seeing an error message on screen prior to the issue occurring? Are you using a particular app or feature at the time, or does it occur randomly?

In the meantime, please take a look at the link below, which offers some tips on what to do when your phone overheats.
