Getting really frustrated with regular spam (especially a badly worded one claiming to be from EE, and I mean bad.....)

I used to be able to block and report spam but now I can only block and delete!

I can't forward the message (or any messages for that matter) to spam report service.

What's going wrong?

Tried to switch to Google messenger but that won't open with any functions?

Any ideas please 🙏

Phone your mobile provider and try reporting the number to them.

Could be a rogue app as well. If its worse you'd be better off resetting your phone.

There ways where you can report them. If you forward them to 7726 . I don't know much about Samsung Messages as I don't use it. I prefer Google Message over Samsung. As Google Message has more features and gets more updates

Its the same spam message being sent from multiple different numbers.....
Blocking each number doesn't stop this cr*p coming in!

Would be great ifbi could make Google message the default sms app but despite showing a button to do this it will not happen!

You can set your default messaging app through Settings > Apps > Choose default apps > SMS.

Members can use the Hiya Service to  to Block a number of Spam/scam Messahes/calls. option to Block all identified  spam/scam calls  or only high risk.   https://www.hiya.com/products-smart-call 

in certain cases can report to Action Fraud https://www.ncsc.gov.uk/collection/phishing-scams/report-scam-call  some information also from Ofcom https://www.ofcom.org.uk/phones-telecoms-and-internet/advice-for-consumers/problems/tackling-nuisanc... 

I do not have issues reporting to Network via Samsung Messages, as  has been said possibly due to a rogue app.
