The Exynos 2200 version is practically unusable, the lag is terrible. It's super slow compared to the note 10+! This is 2022 how can this happen? I've paid top $ for this premium phone, Snapdragon version is way better.

I hope Samsung fixes this issue via an update.zzz

I'll wait for the update.

In the interim I found a workaround. It seems Exynos 2200 can't handle WQHD+ at 120 HZ, so by changing the resolution to FHD+ and toggling off animations then the device performance is much faster.

Hi, of course that sucks. But thanks for the tip, I thought it had something to do with frequency control and resolution.

Hopefully it will be fixed with the next patch.

I have a S22 Ultra, 512gb Exynos, and it is so slow and laggy. Even simple things like texting takes an age for keyboard to pop up. Mine has gone slow since I updated it on Saturday. Up to now i think the S21 Ultra was considerably smoother to use. I know this will get resolved in an update probably.

Im having the same issue, with the Snapdragon Gen 1 as well. Laggy UI/interface, RAM not being able to hold apps without refreshing them, brightness flickering some during full screen youtube videos.....Multiple issues. Hopefully it is fixed with an update, because I don't wanna trade in my phone until they do.

Really frustrating. I also upgraded from the Note 10+ and so far have found the experience really poor. In fact I would also say the Note 10+ was smoother. Also comparing this phone against the wifes Pixel 6 Pro and my son's Iphone 13 Pro it feels aweful. Really at odds whether to just send it back and buy a Pixel even with the bugs or just move fully to Apple and be done with it.

I had the exact same issue . Laggy gestures slow performance and stuttering while scrolling

I fixed it by wiping the cache partition

I had this issue for about 2 weeks and i finally fixed it now my s22 ultra feels as fast as my previous s20 ultra
