You of course either didn't read the whole article or missed the part Samsung has said regarding the investigation
Just in case I have copied and pasted below.

A spokesperson for Samsung said: 'Samsung takes customer safety extremely seriously. We have been in regular contact with the customer and following analysis of the device by our quality assurance team, we have concluded that the reported damage was the result of an external heat source and not from the device itself.'

What external heat source can you see in the images on the website that would cause that?

Think about it.
Stuff has obviously been moved.
You could say where is the phone in the pictures.
It was probably something like a cigarette or tealight candle that started the fire.
Some of the most common causes of house fires. People fall asleep with things like that still alight

I don't believe a young person of that age would be naive enough to leave a tea light candle on or a cigarette in a dish considering they are a care home worker and probably deal with old people doing those mistakes.

I'm more curios about the burn in the mattress. Under where the pillow would have been. Many are known to have there phone under there pillows. Not a great place for a phone, certainly can cause heat.

Oh come on
Go and speak to your local fire brigade.
Think hair straighteners being left on and are mostly used by young people cause countless fires.
Which ever way you want to play this out.
The article has an official statement from Samsung for anyone to read.
You can even see further on in the article examples of Note 7 battery fires. They look different and burned from the inside out.
If Samsung genuinely thought there was a case to answer here. They would be moving very swiftly to resolve the matter due to the mess that the Note 7 caused.
This is just a non story sensationalised to grab people's attention

Literally the Burn marks on the Note 7 are identical to the area of the Burnt S22 Ultra

Well that's another thing. Burning under the pillow and on the bedside cabinet at must be 40 odd cetremeters or more away.
