Is anyone else disappointed with the new s22 ultra clear view case ..the previous models had a clear protector in the view section .the new 1 has just a cut out which leads directly to the screen am now having to buy a screen protector to stop fingerprints and dust getting on it

When I viewed a few reviews when deciding on a case this is the version that lot's of people beeline for as one of the most popular options.

I bought one for my Samsung Note 10 and the information panel was made out of plastic.

When I viewed the new one for the Samsung Galaxy s²² Ultra and realised the view panel was at the top with no plastic insert my immediate thought was dust accumulation and like you realised that part of the phone's screen was left open to the elements.

Now as the Samsung Galaxy s²² Series of phone's do not come with a factory fitted screen protector I appreciate you now want to fit one.

The display is made from Corning Gorilla Glass Victus + but I still put a Whitestone Dome Glass Screen Protector on my phone's.

I ended up choosing the Samsung Black Leather Cover Case that clips onto the phone and fitting a Whitestone Dome.

Are you sure the s22 doesn't come pre installed with a screen protector straight from factory? I know my s21 did and it still fitted on there perfectly today, infact they are fitted so well it took me a few months to even realise, Ave a good look around your camera cut out that's an easy way to see if one is Installed on there.

Unfortunately they don't have one fitted.

They come with an in-transit plastic cover that has a tab at the top to remove it.

Some people are cutting that tab off and using it u til they decide to replace it with a proper screen protector or go without.

I always use a Whitestone Dome Glass Screen Protector on my phone so I did give it a good look over as the factory fitted ones can be hard to detect.

I also had it confirmed by Samsung UK that they have not fitted a protector.

My s21 had a plastic cover on it maybe should av gone for the led case 🤔
