I just saw an Android update s906bxxu2avhe

I installed it immediately but usually I check these things online first. I did the update and then installed a game called Stormshot. My virus software indicated Malware detected and uninstall...did that immediately. No Google MALWARE report facility seen so reported via Undesired system (!)

Thinking back only other change was to Android Samsung baseband s906bxxu2avhe recently...got me thinking more than usual.

Worryingly no mention of firmware/baseband s906bxxu2avhe in Samsung site. Was my s906bxxu2avhe update legit ?!

If you got it through software update on your phone then it is fine

I know what you are saying but there is hardly Mention in Google searches of this one. For a Microsoft or Apple device I would check a know good firmware listm but seems not easy to see that on Samsung

It seems to be legit s906bxxs2avhd/s906bxxu2avhe/s906bxxu2avhe. I just checked on checkfirm.

Would prefer if Samsung published these rather than relying on 3rd party. Doesn't move me closer to a trust circle. Cmon Samsung. Even Microsoft and HP kinda get this right. 😞
