S22 Ultra wont connect to data

I've recently got a reconditioned s22 Ultra.

I can make calls, texts & WiFi works fine. But when I'm out with no WiFi, the data does not work at all. I've exhausted all steps from O2 customer services (network settings etc etc/ new SIM card), this is my last chance to get phone working properly before I return to retailer.

Anyone have any ideas of anything I can do, or is this now a lost cause?

Hey! Welcome to the Samsung Community! Looks like you have tried most of the suggestions the community will suggest. My only advice is that make sure you have updated the device and try the 2nd sim slot as well and see if that works but get your phone replaced might be the best option here.

Hi batsy, thanks for your reply. The phone only has one dedicated SIM slot so I can't do that.

It's also had the most recent update

Hi there, have you tried Settings-Connections-Wifi- three dots UR- Intelligent Wifi-SWITCH TO MOBILE DATA: unchecked. Also you can try to put phone into safe mode and do factory reset but before that make sure everything is backed up.

I would return it to who you brought it from if it's not working problem

Hello iminvti, have looked at what you suggested but it won't let me turn the 'switch to mobile data' on or off (it's stuck/set to the on position)

Factory reset is my next step

Hi Sefflar. It's worth checking if the phone is dedicated for the country and area where you live.

Coincidentally, I checked the IMEI No on my providers advice & when I did, it wasn't blocked / barred, however it did start it's life in the US on AT & T (I'm in the UK ), so did wonder if that was an issue?

Would the country be an issue then? As I said above re the at&t thing, it didn't seem to say too much when I googled it

If that's the case, I think that's the issue why it's not working, I think it's better if you return it and get one issued in the UK or at least Europe.
