I've been using utorrent for years on my phones.
It worked on S7, S9+, S10+, S20 ultra, S21 Ultra but...

WON'T work on my S22 Ultra??

Used smart switch to transfer settings etc phone to phone but the S21 Ultra will open and download the files but the S22 Ultra just won't.

Anyone any ideas?

To boot into recovery do this as It's changed with Android 11, now you need to plug the USB-C / micro-USB cable along with the combination buttons (Press & Hold the Power and Volume Up button)

Https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to hook up to a Computer or insert your earphones to enter into recovery mode.

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

I'm just confused how your original reply was relevant at all. It's like saying YouTube doesn't work because you might possibly watch copyrighted content on it. I've never seen a phone blocking downloads from unknown source. Blocking 'installs' from unknown sources yes, but that's not what we're having problems with here.

And assuming you're on a S22 Ultra too then yeah? If so that's interesting.

Well.... I tried recovery mode, nothing...
In the end, I factory reset 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️😡
Started setting up phone, installed utorrent and it worked!!!

Shouldn't have to but.....
I then used smart switch - CUSTOM setting, transferred settings, home screen, apps...but NOT utorrent as it was already installed.

WORKING 😀😀😀😀

Also found more problems once I'd factory reset 🙄
WOULDN'T download from Galaxy store on WiFi - said no network.
Solution: uninstall updates, clear cache and data, recovery mode and clear cache.
Now downloads on WiFi again.

Here maps kept crashing.
Solution: clear cache and data, uninstall, reinstall and redownloaded maps.
All working as it should now 😀

WiFi calling not showing AGAIN.
Solution: called Vodafone and got them to resend 'provisioning' message and refresh on their end.
Working again 😀

Hope this helps anyone having similar problems 👍

I've done new install didn't xfer anything with smartswitch and every single torrent client doesn't work.

Most crash, not sure if it's to do with file access issues with the new android as it doesn't give access to all files any more?

Flud strangely works for 1 torrent then keeps crashing after that (have to uninstall, install again and then can open another torrent)

Not finding any answers anywhere for this
