S22 Ultra WiFi issues

Hello, I'm having bother with my S22 Ultra maintaining a WiFi connection.

It will find and connect the WiFi with no problem, and it may work for a moment or 2, but then it stops working. Pages/apps won't load etc, despite it claiming to be connected and having full signal and those little arrows occasionally flickering on and off.

It is NOT the WiFi network, as everything else in the house is working fine (TV, xbox, hubby's phone, kids tablet etc) and it has good strong speeds. I have tried resetting the router regardless which didn't help.

I've restarted phone, forgot and reconnected the network, checked for updates, what else can I try? I'd rather not bring the phone back to factory settings if I can help it.

I've not been elsewhere with a different WiFi connection yet to be able to test it on additional networks.

Thank you!

Hey there

Sorry to hear this. I see you have forgotten and retried the network.

Please can you perform a Reset Network Settings and then reconnect to your WiFi

@lea85: Further to the above suggestion by @Piper123, please head to Settings > General management > Reset > Reset network settings > Reset settings. Please be aware, however, that this will also reset your Bluetooth and mobile data settings.

Also what browser you using? I reemeber many years ago if I used Chrome this would happen when I switch back to Samsung browser all was good

I haven't changed it since, still default browser is Samsung one and use Firefox

Thank you, I have tried that now too with no luck. Thankfully at least on my model phone the mobile data network reset is separate, so it's only my Bluetooth things I now need to reset/connect haha

Although it happened previously with apps not loading only, that seemed to sort itself out after a few days, but this is effectiveness everything network based on the phone now. I only noticed it on Wednesday, but there's a chance it had been happening before that and I've just caught it at good times!

I do use chrome by default yes, but it isn't just a browser issue, my apps aren't working either, but I'll give switching to Samsung and Firefox a go, see if that helps thank you

Worth a try, I hope it does work

I am not Android expert but in the Windows world it does take setting from your browser
