S22 Ultra updated to 1 July Securing patch very bad battery on watch 4

My s22 Ultra updated to 1 July Security patch today and a pop up ...Galaxy Watch4 Manager keeps stopping started appearing every few minutes .. my watch 4 had 100% charge at 2pm and was giving battery saver message at 5pm (11%}.. 

s22 also using more battery than normal basically making watch 4 useless and dismissing pop up every few minutes . Have reset phone various times and forced stopped watch4 manager

Looks like there are many others with the same issue. There is a post on reddit. Some say, make sure the wearable app is upto date. So make sure apps are up to date. Some said a reset of the watch sorted the issue. I would Clear the watches cache. Same with the s22 ultra, after an update wipe phones cache partition. See if after doing all these helps sort the issue first, before trying a reset of the watch.

good to know not isolated issue (sorry for others)... all apps are upto date (latest was Samsung health) ... didn't buy phone to be a beta tester for Samung and wasting life resetting something that was working fine before latest up date... if still happening Monday will take to service centre as not fit for purpose  .. but thanks for your input

things are getting worst .. took S22 off charge at 41% went to shops and had in wireless charging cradle a bit over an hour ago and now at 17% oops 16% (dropping as write this) ... phone didn't have watch 4  with and its quite warm in hand that never experienced before ...now S22 is giving... switch to battery saver message 😞

Weird how some have issue and some don't when it comes to software that surely must be the same....

I have watch4 classic and S22U, my Mrs has watch4 and S22+; neither have an issue...weird

Also, no issues whatsoever with watch and S22U. Each on latest firmware respectively

That's really strange... might be a telco issue... I am on Optus 

S22 Ultra was on Samsung trio charger last night and now 13 hours later only at 90%.... had no battery or any other major issues (2 niggles - outlook wont attach files on IMAP email account since brought S22 (was fine on S21 ultra) & get a random notification pop up saying connect a watch4 plan - select and goes away for a few days) but since yesterday major battery issues

Apparently it has something to do with Wearable app a large thread about ...

mine wont even open the wearable app just gives a message Unable to install ... Actually deleted out the Watch4 manager and no more pop ups or battery drain 25%+ hr on S22U and down to 0% on watch in 3 hrs. no longer getting notifications on watch but other functions e.g. call etc work and battery back to normal ..Hopefully Samsung pump out a fix asap
