Since updating my S22 Ultra my phone has stopped working, it has crashed 20 times today for no reason.... I can no longer update or install apps anymore this is getting annoying now. I have tried every fix reset, delete cache and data, delete account, nothings woekingand if I can't fix soon this would be the last straw and unfortunately I will move away from Samsung

After applying the update, my phone worked fine for about two days, but the issue reappeared, and my phone stopped functioning properly again. It seems this might not be a permanent fix. I think we must wait for Samsung to release the next official update to solve the problem.

Aww really thanks for letting me know! That sucks though at this point I'm so hesitant to even get a new device because seeing issues with other Samsung devices.

I did also clear the cache partition in addition to what you did so if mine stays ok  I will share an update

please count me in the sufferer of Samsung Update! I got mad after 26-November-2024 UI update, no Phone app, no Contacts, no Email app works!!!!!! Please Samsung do update with care, not with careless like this.

Thanks so much. I got into the problems today Nov 26 2024 after un update last night. Phone app crashes, Contacts crashes, Emails crashes,.... really frustrating. I applied your advice and it works like magic!!!!

My phone updated on 21st, started randomly rebooting but only once every x times.
Suddenly it was stuck in boot loop for an hour, got back in and thankfully made backup.
That night it got into a boot loop untill battery was dead, whole night. Nothing helped, got into recovery mode once and did factory reset, didnt help.

 

After it being dead, i managed to get into the setup screen, since reading online, I didnt activate my wifi.
Updated google play services manually but can't even activate my wifi now.
Since then it has rebooted once, Samsung is not helping at all but the phone was working spotless before.
This cannot be a normal failure if so many users are having same issues at same time after update....

If samsung doesn't take proper action, i'll have to contact the local consumers rights organisation because this is just bad service for a 2,5 yr old expensive phone

Im having the same exact issue since 15th November. If anyone is from the Uk please message me on this directly, I've been doing lots of research, escalation etc and would love to speak to others and maybe figure out what we can do on this problem

I think I found the solution to this issue!

Go to Settings and look for RAM Plus. It was active on my device, and after deactivating it, my phone has been working just fine for the past two days. But now everything just as before. Try it out, may be you get a better result.

So Samsung got back to me after their team analysed my error report files and put it down to potential hardware defect and to bring it in store so they can assess it.

However last week I came across this video on youtube. I went through all the steps and didn't think it would work. At this point I was desperate to try because my phone was rebooting like crazy now and I couldn't use it for no more than 20 minutes at a time

Now my phone has not rebooted for 6 days now and is working like normal and back to how it was before the update -  no freezing, no reboots!!!!

 

I will have to find the video. Are links allowed to paste?

That’s great news! I hope it’s still working for you. Could you please share the instructions and the steps you followed? Was a software reset necessary?
