Hi all, I got the phone last week, since then I couldn't have a decent conversation with it, signal drops all the time but I have full bars, Internet drops in the same time, I cannot listen to a full song on YT, if I'm on Bluetooth with the headsets, Bluetooth connection drops too, basically I have all the problems that are being reported all over Internet with this phone. Airplane mode/restart fix it for a while then it happens again. The rest of the phone is really realty great, I still vahe time till the end of the month to switch to a different phone but I really hope I'll keep this one. Is there any news that this will be fixed by an update or the phone is just rubbish and there's no hope? Cheers

P.S. even now when I tried to post this I lost the connection

Exact same issues as everyone else here by the sounds.

Terrible signal constantly drops out regardless of location. Have the same problem in city centres. Internet connections are just as bad with or without wifi.

Took back to o2 shop where i bought from, all they did was disable 5g and 4g calling. Made no difference what so ever.

The issue is the phone, i had an s10 with no issues, regretting upgrading now.

Lovely phone to look at, but so frustrating to use.

I would highly recommend moving back over to iphone from now on.

Have you don a factory reset?

That is what Samsung Sweden tells me to do. Or just a reset of nerwork

Tried this multiple times, but still the same. I'm starting to think that this might be hardware issue. I wish it could be fix by a software update but it's been 6 months now i think when the phone is released and my unit is fully updated.

Some S22 Ultra have hardware-defects - exchange it.

Something you think or something Samsung have came out with?

I am having exactly the same problem, so much so that O2 replaced the handset thinking there was a problem. I go to places where my old HTC had no problems at all and just get "Emergency calls only" and no mobile data either. To says it's irritating is an understatement and being disabled, it's actually putting me at risk, so not sure what to do.

I'm having the same issue with my S22 Ultra since 2 months ago. I did all the possible things suggested from network reset to factory reset and finally I compared with my Note 20 Ultra with the same SIM card in the same spot. I managed to make calls with clear sound with N20U and constantly to receive the "Network not available" message on S22U. Definitely it is a software related issue and hopefully Samsung will manage to solve it as soon as possible.

I just got this a week ago. It's October 4th 2022. This phone has been out a year, and it's still not fixed? My cell phone reception keeps going to no service. When I'm at home on Wi-Fi or off wi-fi. I will still have data, but no cell service. Which means no calls or texting. I can turn on airplane mode and turn it off, but it happens again later.

My wife and I both have S22 phones and we are having the same issue. No number of network resets, airplane mode toggles, factory resets, or other hacks fix this problem. I plan to call Samsung and ask for a replacement or an upgrade to the next model phone. There's no way this phone has been out this long, and this is not a serious an unresolvable hardware or software problem. Samsung certainly knows about this.

My wife and I on different S22 ultras, hers is a 512GB from March 2022 and mine a 128GB from July 2022 and we both experience the same intermittent and sudden 4G/LTE (@Telia) data traffic interruptions at different locations with good reception in different cities even after following Samsungs advices regarding resets of this and that. SIM cards replaced and I'm so tired of getting the advice to perform a full reset. It's horrible and this really starts looking like a proper "LTE-gate" 😞a

Thank good for the now stronger consumer law rights here in Sweden where the manufacturer now could be held responsible for up to two years for faults like this. Someone must know more about the root cause of this issue.
