S22 Ultra signal/network problems

Hi all, I got the phone last week, since then I couldn't have a decent conversation with it, signal drops all the time but I have full bars, Internet drops in the same time, I cannot listen to a full song on YT, if I'm on Bluetooth with the headsets, Bluetooth connection drops too, basically I have all the problems that are being reported all over Internet with this phone. Airplane mode/restart fix it for a while then it happens again. The rest of the phone is really realty great, I still vahe time till the end of the month to switch to a different phone but I really hope I'll keep this one. Is there any news that this will be fixed by an update or the phone is just rubbish and there's no hope? Cheers

I bought my S22 Ultra a few weeks ago and was having issues with network signal from the start. I also bought my partner the same phone and she is having the exact same issue. Always having issues loading Web pages, posting comments, loading social media. It's frustrating as hell. We've upgraded from an IPhone X and an A52 and never had these issues before so it's definitely hardware related. We spent nearly $4000 on these phones and we are worse off than before..

I assume your sim cards are still working fine with connection in your other phone's  ?

i.e 

It's not your sim cards that are at fault or the cell masts where you are ?

Try choosingba different network in your connection settings and then go back to your own network. This can help to reset the network connection.

in your about phone section tap on status information and then on sim card status and look at the information in Signal Strength.

Google Search that signal signal strength to see how the connection is.

There is also an app in the Playstore called Samsung Band Selection that may help > samsung_band_selection_app. 

Are you able to run a full diagnostic via the diagnostic tool in your Samsung Members App  ?

If your still within your cooling off period then you can ask for replacements from the source that supplied them.

If your out of any relevant cooling off period [ Samsung UK provides 2 weeks ] then either the source that supplied them would needs hands on or approach a Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre who can take a look at your phone's.

I've had my s²² Ultra since Launch day and to date it's been exemplary.

Not only you, we all have this problem. Phone Lost reception at least 20 times a day

I have the same issue. Mobile network speed is way slower than on my previous s20 plus phone (20 mbps). On my s22 ultra about 0.5 to 5 mbps usually. 

I have US version of s22 ultra(snapdragon) 512 GB and I'm using this device in EU.

Did not help:

  • factory reset
  • network config reset
  • change physical sim card to eSim
  • change from 5G to LTE and back
  • moved my sim card to an old phone, works fine on my old brick.

Checked signal strength on my both devices -95 dBm (RSRP)

When I'm coming closer to network tower, I'm getting better internet about 50 mbps. This is expected, because of other family members has 120 mbps on the same spot. 

What helps me:  Temporarily changed to an another network courier and now I have decent internet connection. But I don't want to change to another courier because of my whole family uses one network courier and we got good price for all my mobile expenses. This is very annoying. I would rather change my phone instead of mobile courier. 

I would really want to change my phone, but I don't want to send it back to US. I paid higher amount to get snapdragon version. HELP

i have this problem with my S22 ultra here in Iran , we all know it's a problem in this phone, it's not about location, sim cards or ..... , it's just this S22 ULTRA (?!) phone
just waiting for OneUI 5 based on Android 13, hoping for a fix
if not, i will replace this phone with another brand phone and i never trust samsung phones again

I have also tried put a new sim card to my old phone and network is much better than on my samsung s22. So, problem is with phone. 

What helps me:  Temporarily changed to an another network courier and now I have decent internet connection.

Having similar issues as well. Just bought mine about 2 weeks ago. And I noticed that the mobile data is slower, not stable at all, and signal strength is lower than my previous phone Huawei P30 Pro. I tried switching to a different carrier and its the same. When using my previous unit everything is fine. Tried also on iPhone 13 mini and its working just fine. Only on this S22 Ultra that I'm having this kind of issue. Comparing it to other OLDER Phones using the same carrier and only this S22 Ultra really is the only one having issues. Tried all the recommended  troubleshooting steps and nothing works. I also tried on another different S22 Ultra unit but also having the same issue.

Having the same problem, so frustrating, constant buffering on YouTube or any other streaming service. Had samsung phones since the S3 but this will be my last.
