S22 Ultra Samsung Pay issue - CSC incorrectly locked to Germany

UPDATE: Its now going back to EE. They said they've had a fair few go back for this reason. Not a great start on a new device 

I'm getting fed up with this issue now. I've had no update at all since last week and the error report has come back to tell me the issue has been resolved and the reason I cannot add Samsung pay is because the device is manufactured for the German Market!

@Sam_UK@AntS@SachikoT please could I get an update on this urgently please? 

I've been holding off on sending back to EE as I was advised you wanted the device to investigate it.

Google how to change the CSC yourself, it's quite easy and there's lots of videos on YouTube on how to do it, the CSC you want for the UK is BTU, which is unbranded UK.

The device would need to be rooted to do this, something I don't want to do nor shouldn't have to

No it doesn't, you just need to extract your CSC, delete whatever code is in it now, change it to BTU and flash it back, or find the official UK firmware for your phone UK version and flash the whole lot with Odin, it's the same as doing a full android firmware update.

Fair enough, Samsung support came back to me on the error report today stating that the device had been manufactured and set up for use in Germany, and also advised against attempting to manually change the CSC. Samsung reps on here wanted me to send the device back to them so they could investigate, but I've not had any update for a week so this post is more of a final call to be courteous and wait on them, before I send it back to where I got it from for a refund

im same having a whole bunch of issue`s (no samsung pay, no volte, wrong riegeon (eux) only had 2 days and been on to samsung most of the 2 days and they dont seem to know whats happening

Samsung support ended up coming back to me to say the device was made for a German Market and I needed to add a German bank account to use Samsung pay. Wtf

Omg! So you pay 1300 or more for a phone and that's all they come back with definitely not good enough
