S22 Ultra with CSC = EUX, SIM free, I cannot download firmware over mobile data. It was something that I had not tried before but the other day I was about and had to wait to connect to wifi to download the firmware.
Has anybody found a solution for this?

Hi, Have a look at the solution provided by the moderator on Samsung US forum.

Thank you for the suggestion. Unfortunately, not the solution for me, my phone had all the settings as described on that thread and still it did not work.
I have both the switch to mobile data enable and auto download over wifi disable.

I am sorry, but is this related to my question?
Did you also have problems updating firmware via mobile data?
What was wrong with your phone?

It could be that your sim provider is somehow "blocking" it. There are few users here with same issue, I think on O2, and still unresolved

I have been contacting my network and they blame the manufacturer. There are at least another user here, @BandOfBrothers who seems to update a Fold phone but no the S22 Ultra using the same SIM, suggesting that it is not a network issue.
I have tried several suggestions, but all options on my phone were in the correct setting but I do not get a way of forcing the update. The last thing I tried was increasing the warning for data usage from 2GB to 18GB to see if that makes a different, but I will need to wait until the next firmware is released.

I have contacted O2 and they blame Samsung. Samsung blames O2 and we are going in circles.
I put an EE SIM card on the phone and it downloaded the firmware in seconds, It seems that all points to a network issue. But some users have reported being on O2 and being able to download firmware on different phones.
It could be a combination of O2 and the S22 Series.
It is appalling that neither Samsung nor O2 do something about it.
