Hi,

I own S22 Ultra Exynos and for the last 2 weeks every time I unlock it, it freezes up to 20 sec and it unfreezes, but everything in the background is working, for example when I unlock and it freezes the arrow on the WiFi are flickering and clock is changing, but it wont register any touches.

I removed my screen protector but again same issue.

Do any of you have the same issue as me?

Thanks for your help!

Hello @Dimsi  👋

This isn't happening on my Samsung Galaxy s²² Ultra  🤔

Please do try these troubleshooting steps.

1. Try a forced reboot by holding down the volume down key and power button simultaneously for more than 7 seconds to restart it. When your phone resets, you will feel it vibrate.

2. Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }

3. Safe Mode  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/ turns off downloaded apps and themes etc which may highlight an app or theme that's causing conflict. Alternatively long press the power off button and then long hold on Turn Off to get to Safe Mode.

4. Use the diagnostic test tool found in your Samsung Members App.

5. A very last resort is to back up and factory reset but then set the phone up manually i.e don't use the back up.

6. Feedback can be sent too directly to Samsung for assessment.

7. A Samsung Service Centre can assess your phone.
