Hi all, hope you can help....
I bought a s22ultra in Feb while in India and was assured that the 5g would also work in Europe. I live in the Netherlands... however once i got back, it refuses to connect to the KPN 5g network....
A quick look at the spec suggests it should not be a problem... any ideas or suggestions?

Really glad it worked for you... even sent ot in to samsung for test and repair and they refused to do anything as I bought it in India!! So much for global!! However I noticed a very strange thing when I was roaming in Spain, it was able to connect to the 5g network!! Cannot explain this

Hi guys, my two cents to the topic. Similar situation, bought the phone in UAE (wanted the snapdragon version). Live in Cyprus and not getting 5G. Talked to the provider and they told me that Samsung is limited access to 5G of devices which are outside their region. Some operators make deals to allow that (seems to be some licensing thing). I am also getting in some countries 5G. That could be an explanation (those providers have that enabled). Wrote to Samsung… very generic replies… it is unacceptable to limit the usage of a function of a phone. We paid premium for full functionality! By the way, the bands are just fine (technically). Samsung shame on you! We have to use between quicker processor (snapdragon without 5G) or quicker internet (exynos with 5G). Stating that because I had S22 Ultra EU version and gave it away due to slower processor.

Thanks for sharing! Yes shame on samsung... after using samsungs since the s7, this will be my last samsung.... plan on selling it before a new version comes out...
