S22 Software update 6.1 with Ai

Hi there. So I've just had prompt saying my S22 has a software update, which includes the addition of Ai. What I'm trying to find out is if there is anyone with S22 who's already updated, and if so have they any negatives or issues now? I don't want to update my phone if it's going to ruin a perfectly good working phone as it is. Many thanks

I updated on the day of release. I've had zero issues.

I completed a back up on my laptop via SmartSwitch then updated, just in case, and once updated I cleared cache partition through recovery mode.

I did find the battery drained quickly on day one but I assume that was due to new features and battery optimising itself again maybe. But all is well now.

So has the battery consumption pretty much gone back to what it was before? That's a biggie for me, I don't want the battery efficiency all of a sudden dropping

Like you I received the same notication as I have the S22ultra, I'm a bit puzzled by this as my device updated to Ui6.1 last week along with the May security patch too so I thought it had updated already. I'm I missing something? I checked the software update and Google play system which states I'm up todate for both. I was able to use the Al features last week then so why this notication??

I had no issues after installing ui 6.1. but since last security update my phone has lost it's support for contactless payments for some strange reason.

Quite a big issue then I'd say. That's something I don't want to lose
