S22 shows charge but won't turn on

Hi guys, opened up a brand new s22 5g, the phone has never been used. For some reason after trying to turn it on it does not turn on but the phone is extremely hot. Thought it might need some charging but it shows it has charge in the battery but still won't turn on. Anybody know what the issues is? Or a fix? I'm worried it may be a battery issue.

Hi @Jurnaid  Try a Soft Reset by holding the Power and Volume Down Buttons simultaneously for around 10 seconds to see if it Reboots.

If this does not work can you enter Recovery Mode:

1. Turn off the device.
2. Connect To Computer or other Device , Press and hold the Volume Up key and then press and hold the Power key
3. When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
4. Wait until the Android system recovery menu options appear.

Brand new as in unbroken security seals or brand new as in purchased from a 3rd party seller claiming it is brand new. Has it got a warranty with it?

Brand new boxed sealed security sealed, bought from supermarket phone shop online

Warranty? I'd reach out to the seller and ask them to resolve.
