hello everyone, is there a way to record a phone call? i cant find the settings on my s22plus

If you're using a UK handset, then the only option would be to find and use a 3rd party app.

You won't find them in settings as that feature was removed a few years ago due to illegal concerns you can't record any calls unless you can find a 3rd party app to do so.

@katrina87   It  is not technically  illegal to record calls in the uk 

However  it is illegal to share calls with 3rd parties without consent, see some information here https://www.gmal.co.uk/recording-phone-calls-on-your-mobile/ 

The  native facility was removed due to privacy/security issues and 3rd party apps often have some sort of restrictions.  However a review of such apps here https://www.androidauthority.com/best-call-recorder-apps-android-

The issue around recording calls is a very complex one.

Companies do it routinely but they also have Data Controllers and Data Protection departments or officials.

If you are recording calls, you may be party to confidential information which is subject to GDPR and this you could end up falling foul of the law if you are not a registered Data Controller.

Also, I would not be happy if people were recording my calls without my knowledge.
