I received my Galaxy S22 Ultra 512GB, Exynos version, over a week before official release date. As I was using the phone I discovered several bugs with my unit, screen blackouts, occasionaly freezes, conversations loosing sound, phon not reachable over GSM network even if my signals was good. I decided to wait until official release date to see if new software would be released. On the 25th Samsung released new firmware for my phone, and I did a complet factory reset after new firmware was installed. I am now on firmware S908BXXU1AVBF and fresh phone setup.
My screen problems seems to be gone, but GSM network issues are still there. Several times I have been made aware of that my phone can not be reached by callers, even if phone is showing signals. Solution, reboot. Turning on and off flightmode did not help. Also I am experiencing sound dropouts during calls, call is not droped but sound oth ways are lost, duration 10 - 15 seconds. Also when making a call the phone uses much longer time to set up the call than other phones I have had. Calling my self from other phones give simular results, setting up phone calles to my Galaxy S22 Ultra take much longer then calling others.
Have been in contact with Samsung support, but there is no help to get there. Try this, try that, over and over again. I am starting to loose my patients now, and its impossible for me to have a phone I dont know if I can be reached at, and when I manage to set up a call, sound is lost several times during the call.

@mau0086 Sounds good! 😊
Will you keep testing also with VoLTE switched OFF and write about your experience?

Sure thing. Will keep monitoring it. Turned VOLTE off for now and still have full bars, all four of them. Tried changing to 4g then to 3g and 2g. No change in signal strength, as in no drop outs. Made 3 phone calls and worked great both inside home and outside.
Telstra AUSTRALIA 5g enabled physical SIM.

@mau0086 This sound really promising. I'll wait for a couple of days more, because I was factory reseted my unit and waiting to see development, should I return it to Samsung or update.
And once again, community did Samsung job, just great!

Norwegian tech newspaper is on the case: Mange brukere opplever nettverksproblemer med Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra
Actually also refering to this thread in the article.
Newspaper reached out to Samsung Nordic and after a couple of days Samsung made this statement:
We are aware of the issue regarding GSM-network which a small amount of customers have reported regarding their Galaxy S22 Ultra. Customer experience is our top priority and we are working really hard to figure out and to solve this situation.
To be completly honest Samsung; you don't care at all about us as customers!
Article also claims that Samsung will make improvements and to compensate their S22 Ultra customers.
Exactly HOW that will work would be interesting to know.
Maybe only the customers reaching out to support will actually get a compensation in addition to the actual solution to the problem.

On the background of that article I have now reached out to where I bought my phone as a business phone through Norways biggest phone company Telenor.
I wrote a long detailed e-mail to them after first talking to them on the phone. The customer service person I talked to seemed eager to reserach this issue from Telenors stand.
