Play Store Updates fail following latest OS Update

Following the latest Software update my play store apps are failing to update/install at all.

They go through the motions of downloading (seemingly successfully) and then they try to install but fail with the helpful message saying "unable to update xxx, please acknowledge" with no help or explanation offered.

I have tried clearing the play store/play services cache and data, cleared the individual apps cache and data. All with no joy... the last "fix" I found through Googling was remove and reinstall... well that has resulted in me now not having one of my apps at all as it won't reinstall either!!

Does anyone have anynother ideas??

I had the same problem on my s22 ultra after the latest software upgrade and the solution to turn off app security worked for me. Poor testing by Samsung before rolling out updates!

Nothing else worked, clearing cache etc. I had tried all the work around and fixes mentioned on Google playstore.

Hopefully Google or Samsung will provide a real solution asap.

I have a galaxy s21 ultra and I can't update some apps like chrome Netflix etc, other I can. Never happened. Actually my Huawei p20 also has the same problem

I have the same on my ZFOLD3 unable to update some apps or to install new apps (some are downloading, but install is not working). Tried to delete cache emory etc ... no change .  Can anyone help please ?

Thanks, it fixed the problem and allowed for the Android Device Policy app to be installed on my work profile to fix the passcode issues.
