@lilicious: If you have only recently begun using your Galaxy S22, then please be aware that there is an optimisation period of around 2 weeks during which your device will learn your usage patterns. If you head to Settings > Battery and device care > Battery, and check the usage graph, does it say 'Learning usage patterns' in the bottom right? If so, please continue to use the phone as normal, and you should notice an improvement to your battery life over time.

If the above isn't applicable to you, then it is important to gain an understanding of what it is that's causing your battery to drain quicker than expected. With this in mind, please charge your phone to 100%, use it as you would normally until it reaches around 30%, then head to Settings > Battery and device care > Battery > Tap on the usage graph, then check the breakdown at the bottom of the screen. Are there any apps or features in the list that are using an abnormal amount of battery? If so, tap on the app, select 'Limit usage' at the bottom of the screen, and place it in the Sleeping or Deep sleeping apps section to limit the background activity, depending on how frequently you use the app.

Furthermore, please take a look at the tips below to improve your overall battery life.

- Shut down all background apps when not in use via the Recents button in your Navigation Bar
- Settings > Connections > More Connection Settings > Nearby Device Scanning > Off
- Turn off Wi-Fi, Mobile Data and Bluetooth when not in use
- Head to Settings > Battery and Device Care > Battery > Power Saving Mode > On, and check the additional options below
- Go back and select More Battery Settings > Adaptive Battery > On > Enhanced Processing > Off.
