Has anyone had issues with the icon moisture detected In the charger point and can't get it off?

I have spoken to the chat support and I have tried everything and nothing is getting the notification off?
I manage to get it off last night and charged my phone to 100% and the moment I took it off charge it come back on.
Iv had my phone less than 6 months and only come on after I did the latest update.

I do not want to send My phone off really

I have brought a wireless charger but this is so frustrating

My phone has been nowhere near water!!!

Hey @Hanjay, I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this error message when charging your phone. I recommend trying another official Samsung cable to see if the cable is the root of the problem. Next, have a go at clearing the cache and data of your USB (no personal data will be affected). To do this, head to Settings > Apps > Select the three lines next to 'Your apps' > Show system apps > USBSettings > Storage > Clear cache/data.

Hi iv done all this, last night I managed to clear the message and actually charge my phone, but since taking it out this morning the error message has come back up again. Iv spoken to with the specialists and iv tried all of the options and nothing is working. I will need to send my phone off but right now I need my phone. Iv ordered a wireless charger and hopefully I can go to a Samsung hub where they can see it that day

@Hanjay Thank you for the update. Whilst it may be a time-consuming process, a factory reset will be a good route to go down if you haven't tried it already (this will be done as part of the repair process anyway). It's good to hear you've got a wireless charger to power your phone for the time being. An authorised Samsung engineer will be able to get this issue sorted for you as soon as you're able to proceed with a repair.

@Hanjay Have you taken a look at the guide on our website for backing up and restoring your data? It walks you through the whole process of each backup method and is very easy to follow. Here's the link: https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/backing-up-and-restoring-data-on-my-galaxy/

If you need further support with backing up your data, the Social Media Team would be more than happy to walk you through this. They can be reached on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter from 9am to 9pm every day. More contact information can be viewed here: https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/contact/
