Mcafee phone security

Hi people. I've recently got a S22 and noticed it appears to have Mcafee security installed. I've not activated it but just wondered if there were any hidden T&Cs or charges that would string me later? Or is it free - forever???

So with this, it comes automatically with the phones built in security.

As you can see from my screenshots.

You can view this by going on settings, then Battery and Device Care, and then Device Protection

Also, it's free, I've never had to pay anything .

Hey, everyone,
I used McAfee on my phone for a while it's decent for basic protection like scanning apps and finding your phone if it's lost. But honestly, most newer phones especially Android and iPhone already have solid built-in security. I eventually uninstalled it because it kept sending too many notifications. Depends on what you’re looking for,
