Hi
I recently added another email to the email app. The old email (which I can still access) didn't delete emails from the server, so I could still pick them up on my tablet. The new account, however, deletes emails from the server.
I've looked at Settings - and the menus for the old and the new accounts differ which is a bit confusing, but there doesn't seem to be anything there.
I've also tried to find something in Outlook - just in case! - but no joy.
Obviously, I've sorted this before so there must be away but presumably my brain has got filled with other stuff.
Has anybody got any (repeatable!) suggestions.

Hi - thanks.
I'm using IMAP/STMP (that was recommendation from someone at work, so whole new question) rather than POP3.
When I get to 'Change', I'm not offered 'More settings' (for either of the accounts).
Settings for both accounts are the same in Outlook.
Maybe I'll try another account as POP3 - I am getting desperate.

Ah. This may have led me in the right direction. I need to check this out, but I think the old account may be POP3 but that may not be allowed for the new one - something someone mentioned IRL - so it has been set up as IMAP by default. If so, that it a right royal pain. As is lots of technology.

Hi - I've got one account that does and one account that doesn't. I thin k BT may have changed protocols so new accounts can be set up in that way.
It is a real pain.
