Is there a way to revert some of the changes brought in the new UI?

I have recently updated my Samsung phone which had a manger change to the UI (UI 7.0). And I don't like some of the features, mostly small things like the app search bar now being at the bottom instead of the top, and the look of the new icons. But the main feature that I don't wish I could change was the update to the menu when you scroll from the top of the screen that shows notifications and the quick settings, but now they were separated into two different menus that you know have to scroll down of different sides to get to. I know these designs were intentional but I like being able to scroll anywhere on the top to get both in one drop down. I was wonder if there is anyway to combine them again as one drop down, or if there is any plan for a way to revert some changes of updates like this in the future.
