I purchased pre paid S 22 Ultra trough Verizon

2 weeks ago went for international trip to St Marteen and cant get any connection using my phone .Spoke with Verizon several times and get no help. They told me i need to come back to United States to make set up Global Service. After i came to US called Verizon ,set up Global service and went for trip to Poland .

I cant belive happened again ,I am in Poland now for a week, no phone service (only wifi calling)

Verizon international team its just waist time because no one from the support technician know what to do

I opened Special Verizon support ticket ,no reponde ,my S 22 Ultra still not working

I never have this problem while using Galaxy Note 1p

Whats wrong with this Samsung??

Nope. I use my S22 with an E-Sim. I downloaded the Samsung Band Selector app from the Play Store and forced it to LTE ALL. Started working immediately.

Meant to reply back to another comment. Sorry about the confusion.

You've got to activate it through Verizon.

Here's a nice guide for it.

why use an e-sim over the physical sim card?  what's the advantage?

I travel a lot for work. It's  just easier and cheaper  to get a physical SIM in most countries that I travel to. The main reason I need the second sim is to ensure that I have data when I'm travelling internationally. Verizon caps the Travel Pass usage at just 500MB per day and there are days I easily cross that. So it makes sense to make my primary number an eSIM while getting a local physical SIM for everything else.

right but with the 2 sim's under the same plan your still capped at 500mb right?  or is the other sim its own line which gives you 500mb per line for a total of 1gb ?  also the cap of 500mb doesn't count when connected to wifi ...only counts when using a cell signal right ?

Not really. The second sim (physical SIM) is specific to the country I'm visiting. So I get whatever the data cap for the plan in that country is. For example, in Italy, I have a Vodafone plan with a 100GB per month plan. And it just cost about 20 Euro/22 USD per month for the entire plan. The flexibility that the second international SIM gives me is what makes it worthwhile having my Verizon SIM as an eSIM.
