I don't feel like I should have to fix this issue tho especially since of I alter any of the original equipment them samsung will void the warranty I personally feel like it's an issue that SAMSUNG SHOULD ADRESS and not take matters into our own hands after all they are the tech experts

I have contacted Samsung many times already for this issue. I travel a lot and now in the winter it's getting more frequent and annoying. I need to use Bluetooth devices to do business. Samsung indicates they don't know of a problem with the phone model. They referred me to a certified local repair who said it's a defective phone that Samsung knows about. I called back Samsung to let them know what they said, now they want my phone so that they can fix it. I use it for work and I asked for a backup and they said I can buy a backup for 300 dollars. Ridiculous. I'm extremely upset and looking into a civil law case just because they were rude and they refuse to acknowledge they have a defective product.

I threatened them with a lawsuit if they didn't replace my phone. They didn't care. I think I'm going to file one. Anyone care to join? I think I need like 50 people to join.

Thank you for providing this information on the forum. I have been going out of my mind trying to figure out why my speakers die after a flight. I travel often and it is so frustrating losing phone capabilities as soon as you land. Took it to the Samsung store so many times and they shrug their shoulders, exact same response as you indicated, "must be only your phone".
The S22 is a total dud in my opinion, Samsung needs to own up to this issue and put out a fix for this problem. The concept of phone is to have a speaker and a microphone, dead speakers defeat the purpose of a phone. I paid a lot of money for this phone and need it to work as phone.

Hi I have had the same problem for the last 3 months with my S22, speakers crackling intermittently when making and taking a call or when the alarm goes off or when playing music through the speakers, I spoke to Samsung Tech support, they got me to put it in safe mode but still the same, then got me to do a factory reset but still the same, then got me to change the Sim Card but still the same, so they took it in for repair, got it back today after 10 day with out a phone with a letter saying they found no fault with it. but not even 3 hours later it has happened twice, I have not even put my Sim Card in the phone or loaded any Apps on, just signed in my Samsung and Google accounts. So not every happy.

It is a known problem with the speakers of the S22, especially when there is any type of pressure change. Most often when going in an airplane but I have also experienced it with going in a fast elevator of a high rise building.
Only remedy I know that works is taking out the stylus and playing music until the speakers start working again.
I will definitely think twice before buying another Samsung phone, my S8 was a great device, too bad they stopped making patches for it. The S22 doesn't do the one thing that phone needs to, which is being able to make calls. Don't expect any help from Samsung.

My sons phone does the same thing. This is his 3rd replacement phone. It's so frustrating. At this poing they need to upgrade the phone to a different model. This is just ridiculous.
FIXED the same problem on my phone.
I fixed the crackling speakers issue of my SAMSUNG S22 by cutting a small part (1mm is enough) from the grey rubber gasket in the SIMCARD support. This let the pressure balance inside the phone.
The problem is definitely FIXED (of course I would avoid to drop the phone in a swimming pool now).
It was not a software problem.
