Hey everyone,
I wanted to share some important information regarding the One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy S22 series. It seems that this update is causing issues, particularly with boot problems. Many users, including myself, have noticed that the update is affecting the motherboard, leading to unexpected boot loops and other frustrating issues.
Originally, the S22 wasn’t supposed to receive these AI updates, but Samsung changed its mind and rushed them out. Unfortunately, it looks like they tried to force something that wasn’t ready/meant for S22 Series, and now we’re left dealing with the consequences.
If you’ve already updated and are experiencing boot issues, the only solution may be to replace the motherboard, which can be a hassle and costly. However, if your device is still under warranty, you can send it in for repair and get it fixed for free!
So, my advice? Wait wait wait wait before updating to One UI 6.1. Let’s see if Samsung addresses these problems before we take the plunge. 💀 don't update if you got your motherboard replaced! stay anywhere expect 6.1!

I’m posting because the boot loop issue after the One UI 6.1 update is clearly widespread, and I want to gauge just how big this problem really is. Is anyone else dealing with a bricked Galaxy S22 Ultra or a constant boot loop since the update? I keep seeing new posts about it almost every day. My phone was working perfectly fine before the update. After installing it, it suddenly stopped working. Now, it’s stuck in a boot loop, and on the rare occasion it gets to the home screen, it crashes and starts looping again. i took it to service center but they were of no help, they say the motherboard needs to be replaced and idk the numerous motherboards they’ve already replaced due to SW update world wide? The pattern is obvious: this update has caused widespread failures and they are now charging for repairs wherever possible. we can take logs from the phones showing the update in question followed by recovery reboots immediately afterward. It’s outrageous that a 1 lac phone has failed in 21 months, and Samsung’s response is a Rs 41000 repair quote for a phone! That said, I’d really like to hear from others, especially those in India but also worldwide, about how you’re handling this situation. If your phone is out of warranty, you’ve been denied a warranty claim, or you’re experiencing this issue, please share your story. Adding your voice helps build a stronger case and puts more pressure on Samsung to finally take responsibility for this widespread problem.

But Samsung India is not caring for out of warranty devices. They are giving nominal discounts to some people and for some people they are not even giving that also.

Yes as samsung said to us multiple times from service engineer to escalation engineer to service manager to head of escalation team to ceo connect team that electronic devices can stop working any time and our devices are out of warranty and samsung doesn't give a ***** about it as none of us will fight legally as we don't have proof to say that devices are bricked after samsung official operating system updates .. we just bought another phone and using our ultra devices as paper weights in home

The January update did not help. But the phone's behavior has changed. It freezes differently and it starts up differently. It's hard to explain, but I can see it. Freezes go differently. The launch also happens in a different way. Rough
