Hey everyone,

I wanted to share some important information regarding the One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy S22 series. It seems that this update is causing issues, particularly with boot problems. Many users, including myself, have noticed that the update is affecting the motherboard, leading to unexpected boot loops and other frustrating issues.

Originally, the S22 wasn’t supposed to receive these AI updates, but Samsung changed its mind and rushed them out. Unfortunately, it looks like they tried to force something that wasn’t ready/meant for S22 Series, and now we’re left dealing with the consequences.

If you’ve already updated and are experiencing boot issues, the only solution may be to replace the motherboard, which can be a hassle and costly. However, if your device is still under warranty, you can send it in for repair and get it fixed for free!

So, my advice? Wait wait wait wait before updating to One UI 6.1. Let’s see if Samsung addresses these problems before we take the plunge.  💀 don't update if you got your motherboard replaced! stay anywhere expect 6.1!

Haha, I know, but mine started boot looping over a month++ after the update/ , just got the motherboard replaced. Also, when you get the motherboard replaced, you probably won’t be on One UI 6.1, so I just thought this might help others have an easier time figuring out what’s going on.

Just flash it back to its original 6.0 firmware you don't need to buy a new motherboard

I have had the same problems since updated to UI 6.1 - 5 days ago. I tried everything and none worked out. I guess I'm waiting for the next firmware update.

Didn't know about issues before updating. I got no connection to wireless network after updating. Samsung now says I have to replace my motherboard, charging board and antenna...

Same thing happening to me in India. Phone is just restarting on its own for every minute some times and service center is saying mother board needs to be replaced. This is happening just because of some software update and we need to pay 45k for a 1.2 lac phone just after 2 years of using the phone. Anyone got any update from samsung?
