I am trying to trade-in my #Galaxy S7 Edge - G935FD (Dual Sim) 32GB and have spoken to Video Call support and Samsung Technical Phone Call line (- Samsung Customer number - ******) and the technical team has advised me to speak to yourselves as they have the IMEI I have is from Singapore and that your team would be able to assist me in the trade-in for me to purchase the S22 Ultra.

I have finally gotten through to Sales and they have said that I can not trade-in my mobile to purchase the new Samsung because my current phone was bought in Singapore.

That is so frustrating and I am disappointed that I am stuck with a phone that I can never trade-in from the looks of it!

Help Someone Please !

Thank you.

Regards,

Bruno S.

To be brutally honest, I don't think you will get to much for a s7 edge

See if CEX will take it if you from the UK

When I went through the trade in options and right before the IMEI step, it was showing I would get £290. That is way more than what CEX will give me.

Wish someone from Samsung would look at this thread and give me a solution.

@Bhairav S: I have had a look into this for you, and can confirm that any existing devices submitted for the Trade In Program must be intended for use in the UK/EU. If your Galaxy S7 Edge is intended for use in Singapore, and the IMEI number reflects this, then it is sadly not eligible for the program. I apologise for any disappointment this may cause you.

Hello Andrew, thanks for replying. So I am wondering what do I do with 5his phone. Am I stuck with it forever more and never able to use the trade in program with Samsung despite it being a Samsung phone itself? Is there any manner other the recycle option because there is little to no value Samsung gives for my phone?

Thanks.
