Hi guys,

I need help from you that might know more than me.
I bought the "Galaxy S22 Ultra" in March and since then I'm having problems recording concerts.
I tried to change the settings, I tried to record with Fhd, Uhd, no zoom, clicking on the singer to focus the camera but I have the same result. The video of the s22 ultra is the worst compared to any other phone around me.
Don't get me wrong, it happens only when I record inside dark environments but when I go to concerts (or clubs) I would like to record the moment and to have it with me. During the day the videos are great.
I asked to the samsung store and I followed their advice but the quality is still very bad and when the phone came out it was supposed to be the best in the dark but for me it is the worst at the moment.
Can you tell me if you have the same problem and did you manage to fix it?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi
I open the video turn off auto tracking and press and hold were I want the focus. The circle will turn yellow then just move the slider left of right Screenshot_20221115_231729_Camera.jpg

Isn't recording at most concerts forbidden? I mean you can do it, but not really what the phone is designed for

No phone camera works in dark very well and definitely not for recording concerts or at a club

Use the video in Pro mode if you just use auto then what you are trying to record will be far too bright something I recorded on an S21 ULTRA https://www.facebook.com/groups/debbieharry/permalink/7947306501949909/?ref=share

Some bands encourage you to record and then share with them. On Instagram Blondie for instance.

Hi Crawshaw09,
Thanks for the advice but i already tried that under the suggestion of a samsung employee but the quality of the video is not good (the sound is great).

Hi Robot,
At the concerts you can record but I think you can't stream it live.

My problem is not the dark. I don't pretend to have a great quality like during the day but to have a better quality compared to an iPhone 11 or google pixel or Huawei.
I took some videos to my friend sitting next to me recording at the same time. She had an iPhone 13 pro max and me the galaxy s22 ultra but the difference of quality is huge.
If I give a vote of the iPhone's video 10/10, to my Samsung s22ultra I have to give 4/10.
This weekend I was to another concert but all the phones around me (and I mean it when I say all) were recording at a better quality.

Hi Daviek28,
I tried, but with the lights on the stage moving, it was worse

Watching the video the quality is ok but not good....I would like to upload (later) a video of the iPhone and a video made with my galaxy s22 ultra of the same concert and from the same distance so you see what I'm talking about.
I bought the phone for its camera because for that price I wouldn't buy just a phone to make calls and make work a little bit faster the web 😅

Sorry for the late reply.
Take a look to this videos where I recorded the Korean concert at 4k (at a long distance) and INNA's concert at Fhd (from the front of the stage).

2 - https://youtu.be/ydmvpQflNX8

The next 2 are from the iPhone.
The first video is recorded while the my friend was sitting next to me and the second video was made the next day but this time closer to the stage.
