Google Ai Mode

I'm sorry if this isn't the best place to post this topic, but I was wondering if anyone had turned on and used this new "Meet Ai mode" that keeps popping up when I do a Google search? I don't mean the general Ai response you get, but it appears to be a new Ai feature Google are promoting. I don't usually use these features for a while and let the bugs iron themselves out. 

If people have used it, is it safe? What info is it recording that I might not be aware of?

Treat any response as AI; do not ever accept something as fact just because AI said it. I suppose that's like all research: validating.

It uses information available on the Internet to generate responses; however, it's not 100% trustworthy all the time.

In terms of "safe," it's like any other service you have on your phone. So if you're not worried about searching something, and already use google services, youre not any more "unsafe"

Hi @Handymanphill  to add AI can certainly be a useful tool and  Google's AI Mode like others is imperfect, you need to check the accuracy.  This reviewer was not too impressed in the early stages making a comarison with Perplexity  though that model has some issues too.  obviously the technology is continuing to develop thouugh.
