Gmail notifications delayed 15 minutes

Gmail notifications to my S22 ultra are delayed by 15 minutes. Please can someone help

If using the Samsung email app to access your Gmail then open the app - settings - tap on your Gmail email - check if sync is set to 15 minutes - if so change it to auto

I have the same issue. I have Gmail open on my laptop during the day. I will see an email come in on it and then about 15 minutes later I get the Samsung Email notification on my phone. So, this means there is a 15 minute delay on emails that might need to be responded to promptly.

This issue has been going on for quite a while and just became annoying enough to seek out an answer. People shouldn't have to send me a text or call to tell me to check for an important email.

I have verified that my Samsung Email settings are set to Auto (when received).

Device: Galaxy S23 Ultra (512 GB)
Carrier: Verizon

I am still having the same issues after checking all the settings. It seems to be a Samsung problem but no solution
