Galaxy S22 Ultra - Stolen

Hey guys,

Have a quick question, My mother's S22 Ultra was stolen yesterday.

I have sent the Lock from https://smartthingsfind.samsung

and Three have Blacklisted the Device, if someone does the hard reset on this device will the current tracking still work ? 

The last update that I have is website is following only

I have sent the Track location & lock command as well but most likely mobile was offline at that not sure will it lock the phone or not.  I know iPhones used to be locked to email addresses even if you do a hard reset is this the case with Samsung as well or forget about this device already?

If 3 has blacklisted the device by locking the IMEI then it won't be able to be used.

It's locked to ur samsung account assuming u did sign in to ur account that's why u can track it, samsung account lock is just like icloud lock so they won't be able to use it

What about if someone does a hard reset, while it still be locked or they will be able to reset and use it.

Also what if someone is able to reset the device when they setup with another account can I still track it ?

No they need ur samsung password still

is this for new phones ? i know this is not on older devices like note 8 or 10
