Hello! I have the issue where attempting to set up a fingerprint on my S22 Plus results in 'fingerprint scanner not responding' error. This happened after replacing the display and fingerprint scanner. I think this is because the scanner needs calibration, but I don't have the software to do so. I tried factory resetting the phone. This isn't an issue with any screen protectors or anything, the error pops up before i can even scan my finger. Please help me calibrate the fingerprint scanner. Samsung's self repair app doesn't have fingerprint option.

Hi, thanks! I repaired it myself. I hope the old display isn't needed, because I have thrown it out.

Self repairs in my opinion aren't that difficult if you know what you're doing. I don't think the display is official but it is oled 120hz, looks exactly the same as the original in terms of quality. I don't have proof of purchase since i bought this phone second hand, so I don't know if I could get a free battery replacement. I don't think there was any guarantee for that phone. I know that authorized Samsung repair centers have tools to calibrate fingerprint sensors, but the software isn't available for anyone to download. I'm thinking maybe there's some way for me to calibrate the fingerprint scanner for it to work.
