Don't kill me or Ask me to go back to Apple as it is not the answer 😂😂, at the same time, comparing to Apple facial recognition with S22 Ultra is desperately slow, that's in daylight, and in relation to night time use of facial recognition pratically noooo hope at all. Again my experience with Apple without any light and in dead dark.. It can easily recognise the face security

Is this the case with all galaxy phones?? Or is it just my S22 Ultra?

Apple uses a completely different method of facial identification. That's why they've had the big notch on the screen.
My 22 Ultra does really well, but as it uses the front facing camera. Low light to dark I tend to just use the fingerprint sensor.
If my screen is bright enough it will work OK in low light as the screen lights up my face

Mine works fast in all lighting scenarios to be honest.

I also have my alternate face recognition set up too @IndiW

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "
